How does idoba.sim help you to identify and mitigate bottlenecks underground?

Discover how mining engineers are using idoba.sim to quickly identify and mitigate bottlenecks in their underground haulage network.

What this video is about

So the first way that you can identify

bottlenecks is by just looking at the

insights having run a scenario. It'll

show you where your equipment has

productive time and where it doesn't

have productive time. So that's the

first way. If you see a loader that's

operating very little of its time

loading, clearly there's some issue. If

you see a truck that's constantly idling

empty, there's an issue with the truck

or where it's being allocated. So that's

the first way. Second way is by looking

at the 3D visualization we have. You can

start to watch the traffic interaction

and you can see where things are

bottlenecking. You can see where a

vehicle is getting stuck or held up a

lot or loaders are waiting a lot for

trucks. So you can see the cues and

those kind of things. And the final way

is you can actually compare two

different scenarios and try different

traffic rules or different locations of

mining or different allocations of

equipment and see what that impact has

on a bottleneck area and see if it

actually frees it up or makes it worse.
