This video explains how easy it is for mining engineers to get set up in idoba.sim.

David Beaumont, Head of Mining Solutions at idoba runs us through what data you'll need and the steps to configure your 3D mine network in our cutting edge mining simulation software.

What this video covers

Um first of all you need your mine

network in terms of center line points

and vertices and the points that you're

going to use in your mining like a

stoope or a stockpile where your crusher

is. So basically your environmental

information then your equipment you're

going to use. So your jumbos, loaders,

trucks, pick from an OEM library that we

have or define your own based on your

own performance data. You need

information about your mining activity

that you're going to try and do. So you

know your stoopes, where are they and

how are you going to which loaders you

going to use and what volume do they

have. Um finally something about your

traffic rules. So do you have oneway

sections? What are your speed limits? So

essentially you got all that information

together. Uh it's pretty quick to go

from there.

What kind of data do I need to start using idoba.sim?
